39 A Sea Day on the Ryndam

With only 2 sea days on this sector of the cruise it seems that they tried to fit a lot of stuff in..  Garry went to a couple of computer classes in the purposely decked out computer room.  Rows of computers set up ready for the classes to start.

I spent my day running to the Culinary Arts Theatre  as they had a couple of cooking demonstrations and the best part of these demo’s is that you get to try samples!!

We also attended a port lecture and a talk future cruise talk... well we have to get our monies worth..

Tonight was also a formal night and captain’s welcome party.  Our captain Werner Timmers reminds me of Gru from “Despicable Me” so I can’t help but smile every time I see him, but I would have to say he spoke very well as he introduced his team and seems like a very nice gentleman.

We also watched the first of the production shows on board... On Holland America there are 4 Singers and other 6 dancers in their troupe.  The show was very good with a more modern feel to it.
