14 Crossing the Equator..

Today we crossed the equator.... again.... and we have another certificate to prove it...

Having crossed a few times now it is actually interesting to see how different ships handle the ceremony.  I have to say that the Ocean Princess do a great job...  Don’t know what it is, maybe it is a small ship but the crew seem to have a great repour...   On a small ship the staff are jack and jills of all trades... Dance group don’t just dance they craft, they do trivia.. They run other activities. Our cruise director Peter and his assistant Jason work well together...

This is the first time I have seen the Captain take part in the ceremony...  Captain Toddy watch out you have some tough competition on being my favourite Captain... Captain Ricky is so personable ... I still will not forget how he shook hands and chatted with everyone who came to his welcome party....  anyway... he took part today and did a great job even when it came time for him to be thrown into the pool..  Note the green and red socks... he says that is how he knows where to steer the ship.

There was lots of jelly, spaghetti, chocolate sauce, cream and flour thrown around and of course there was the fish...
