This was our second visit within 12 months to the little island of Male.... Being the experienced Male tourist we knew the best thing to do was to head out to the resorts. Ravine Tours handled our transfer to and from the island and we dealt directly with Bandos Island for our day visit.
I was feeling a little stressed this morning as there were a couple of hiccups along the way not with Ravine they were great but just tying the island down in confirming our visit and as the morning wore on and things fell into place the smile returned to my face...
Alex our Customer Services Director was great and ensured that the 25 of us were loaded on the first tender... Mr Hameed from Ravine was there on the pier as disembarked ... and even better our beautiful big boat was there waiting for us.... After 35 minutes we were on the beautiful island of Bandos... after that you couldn’t wipe the smile from my face...
Returning to our favourite spot on the island, the Sundowner Bar, it was not long and we were swimming in the beautiful warm waters.... what else could you want , beach, cocktails, food and free wi fi.... all under beautiful blue skies.....
We spent most of day on the island and eventually we had to return back to the mainland..... we decided to take a little walk around the streets and along the water front where the markets were, but the heat got the better of us and we headed back to the ship.
